Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF)
E208 and T38 blue angel
The City of Mesa currently maintains two airports, each with an associated on-site fire station.  The Mesa Fire Department provides emergency medical services, structural firefighting and aircraft rescue/firefighting to both.  The firefighters at these two airport stations are FAA certified as Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighters, and receive monthly continuing education training to stay proficient.

Station 208, located at Falcon Field Airport in northeast Mesa, houses one engine company, one aircraft firefighting foam truck, and one specialty air/light support truck.  Station 215, located at Williams Gateway Airport in southeast Mesa, houses one engine company and two aircraft firefighting foam trucks.
